Protein Brownie Mug Cake Recipe
Try this eggless mug cake recipe for the perfect macro friendly dessert during your bikini competition prep! It’s low calorie, protein packed & portion controlled. This will help you stay on track during contest prep, while still satisfying that sweet tooth! If it fits your macros try it with a whole egg. If cooking with eggs, be sure the cake is fully cooked through. The eggless version can resemble more of a lava cake if you prefer a little more moisture (just cook for a little less time).
This recipe serves 1.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 & 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
5-10 drops liquid stevia (depending on sweet you like things) or any other sweetener available
Instructions:
Mix together all of the ingredients. Spray a mug with Pam & pour the mixture into the mug. Heat in the microwave for 25-35 seconds, or until the middle is cake-like, & the top and edges are slightly runny.
