I started my journey with bodybuilding in 2016. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter and as a new mom, I poured all of myself into taking care of her. Somewhere along the way, I stopped prioritizing my health. Previously, I was very active in Crossfit but I didn’t feel ready to jump back into Crossfit post-partum and found myself lonely, depressed, and hating my body. I was also giving into the negativity that surrounded me and starting to believe that I would never have the body confidence I was so desperately wanting. Fast forward to 6 months post-partum and I found Dacia, a local trainer who helped support me and get me started with my journey. A few months later I found Amy Ehinger and have never looked back. Amy encouraged me to be the best mom, wife, and athlete. She supported me when things were rough and put a bug in my ear to start competing.
In 2017 I dove head-first into the world of bikini bodybuilding. I loved challenging myself and found a new love of the gym atmosphere. I gained national qualification in each of my bikini shows, improving with each competition, with Amy cheering me on the way. The culture around bodybuilding is one that I also love. At each show I saw other coaches cheering on athletes from other teams, amazing camaradarie backstage, and I truly appreciated having Amy, my coach, there with me at every show.
In 2020 I met a major goal and competed at Masters Nationals. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would make it to a national bikini competition stage. Through my years with Glam Girl Bikini and Amy, I have realized how well rounded the coaching is with Glam Girl. It’s not just about weight loss. It’s about mindset, balance, self-, hormonal balances, etc. It is not a one size fits all program. I realized that through my journey I wanted to help other people the way Amy helped me. I want to help busy people get started with their own fitness journey, and coach the whole person, not just the weight. I so look forward to working with you whether you have a dream to step on stage or are just wanting to find a program that becomes a lifestyle. Let’s do this!
